The Art Association of Oswego will be featuring a solo art exhibition of paintings by Sarah Chapman in the Kirk Beason Gallery from October 17th to November 9th.
The opening reception will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on October 17th.
Sarah Chapman is a life-long artist. She finds art a space where she can explore, heal, reflect, celebrate, and contemplate. While she has had formal training in a variety of fine arts, including metal smithing, ceramics, cloisonné, sculpture and painting, she is currently focusing on acrylic abstract painting. In addition to traditional art media, Sarah also finds artistic expression in food preparation, and has extensive experience as a professional chef and caterer. Her food is enormously creative, and has received numerous accolades. She has had formal art training at the Otis School of Art and Design for Sculpture in Los Angeles, CA and at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, MA. Her work can be seen at sarahchapmanabstracts.com, and has been shown in a number of galleries in central NY, and she is an active member of the Salmon River Fine Arts Center and a regular teacher at the Art Association of Oswego.
