Her parents were Elizabeth (Ramsden) Aiken and William Aiken.
She was a graduate of Holyoke Community College.
Sally worked at the County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism for 22 years, retiring in 2006. She was a dedicated volunteer at the senior nutrition site in Phoenix as well as the Oswego County Humane Society.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Clarence (Andy) Anderson (1994), her granddaughter, Ashlee Longley (2002) and her brother, William Aiken (2014).
Sally is survived by her children, Sarah (Donald) Dodd of Oswego, Bradley (Dawn) Anderson of Flower Mound, Tx, Eric (Daisy) Anderson of New Jersey, and her sister, Marion Switzer of Westfield, MA., eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
At the wishes of Sally, there will be no calling hours or service. If so desired, donations in her honor may be made to the Oswego County Human Society, 29 W Seneca St, Oswego, NY 13126 or the Phoenix Public Library 34 Elm St, Phoenix, NY 13135.
