The Save Oswego Historic Sites (SOHS) committee will be participating in this year’s Warm Up Oswego by collecting signatures to petition for the restoration of the Cahill building.
A table will be set up at Canal Commons on Feb. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. Committee members will have petition forms that anyone residing in the Town of Oswego or the City of Oswego may sign. The committee’s goal is to gather at least 1,000 signatures.
The petition, which will be presented to Mayor Tom Gillen, is the group’s effort to help restore the Cahill building after Tom Millar’s case was dismissed last month.
