Two Oswego City School District retirees were publicly recognized for their contributions during the May 20 Board of Education meeting. Laura Ryder, the Director of Literacy and former Frederick Leighton Elementary School Principal, and Tim Bristol, who served the district for 34 years as an auto mechanic, were recognized by Superintendent of Schools Ben Halsey and Board of Education President Kathleen Allen. Other employees whose letters of retirement were also accepted included Frederick Ensworth, Pauline Vona and Thomas Dehm.
