Write a commentiHeart Oswego’s Second Annual Children’s Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Nov. 29, starting on West First and Lake Street and ending on West First and Oneida Street.
Children will march at 5 p.m. on West First Street accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children are encouraged to wear glow sticks and other lighted items in accordance with the Light Up Oswego theme.
The parade, in conjunction with Light Up Oswego, leads up to the lighting of the Christmas tree. Santa Clause will make a special appearance at City Hall to excite families and children of the upcoming holiday season.
Leading the parade will be a lighthouse model from the H. Lee White Marine Museum.

Rain, snow or shine, the parade will continue on the set date. Please be on time. Families are advised to dress themselves, and their children, in warm clothing, as the weather can be unpredictable.
