Born in Oswego, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur “Tex” Frake and Anna M. Malone (Zigmund) Zalenski.
She was employed by Flexo-Wire and in in the radiology dept. at Oswego Hospital.
Shirley is survived by her two brothers Michael (Carmella) Frake of N.C. and John (Margaret) Zalenski of Oswego; her life long friend, Joanne Bateman; and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sisters, Nicolette Gillingham, Cherie Patty, and Christine Sheldon.
Calling hours will be held 4-6pm Thursday, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Gravesite services will be held 11am Friday, at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
