Sonia L. Nagel, 56, a resident of Fulton, NY, passed away December 13, 2014 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Carol (Coleman) Greeney. She worked at St. Luke Health Services. She was a volunteer fireman for Oswego Town. She was an EMT for Menter's Ambulance. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, James Nagel Sr.; two daughters, Sonia Young (Jason Powell) of Oswego; Cassandra (Steve) Boyer of Oswego; three sons, James W. (Erica) Nagel Jr. of Oswego; Sean (Crystal) Nagel of Fulton; Christopher Nagel of Oswego; five sisters, Cheri Anderson, Pam Miner, Yvonne Susan Greeney, Lisa Syrell and Trudy Greeney; eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Spring burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Minetto.
