Nurses from the St. Luke Family of Caring are teaming up with the Fulton Family YMCA to offer the community bone density screenings on Wednesday, March 30th from 8:30am to 10:00am, at the Fulton YMCA, 715 West Broadway.

The screenings are free of charge and open to YMCA members and the public, no appointment is necessary. “This is a great opportunity for folks to receive valuable health screenings including bone density and a falls risk evaluation; both easy to do and will only take few minutes,” said St. Luke Home Care Coordinator Ashley Laskevicz, LPN, part of the screening team.

Nurses will be available to discuss the screening results. As a member of the Oswego County Falls Prevention Coalition, information about falls prevention strategies will be available and nurses will answer any questions about ways to reduce the risk of falls in your home.

Representatives from our YMCA will be available to discuss the many programs and services we offer that can help enhance your quality of life through exercise or other activities.
