Write a commentThe St Paul's Girls Travel Basketball program has announced its open tryout schedule for the upcoming season.
The program is again assembling one fifth- and sixth-grade team and two seventh- and eighth-grade teams. Each team generally consists of nine to 12 players. The teams practice two to three nights per week and play in 12-15 tournaments October through March.
Players entering fifth- and sixth-grade will have the opportunity to participate in the tryout sessions from 10 a.m. to noon, Sept. 7, 14 and 21 at the Oswego Middle School and from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Trinity Catholic School.
Players entering seventh- and eighth grade will have the opportunity to participate in the tryouts sessions from 12-2 p.m., Sept. 7, 14 and 21 at the Oswego Middle School as well as from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 8, 15 and 22 at Trinity Catholic School.
Teams will be selected during these sessions and players are encouraged to attend all sessions. Additional questions or problems attending the sessions should be addressed with Coach Jim Muckey at 591-2162 or by email to tmuckey@twcny.rr.com.
