Starr Noel Raymond (Schleicher), age 79, of Fulton, NY, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on January 13, 1947, in Russia, NY, Starr was a beloved mother, grandparent, and friend to many. She touched countless lives with her humor, sassy wit, and endless love.

She is survived by her three children, William Raymond of Colorado, Victoria Raymond, and Ryan (Tanya) Raymond both of Oswego; her seven grandchildren, Kelley (Adam), Alissa (Walter), Reggie (Jennifer), Erica (Cameron), Jenn, Tyler, and Dylan; and her six great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Faith, Nikolas, Carson, Eli, and Sophiya.

Starr was preceded in death by her seven siblings, Crystal, Dixie, Sharon, Linda, Joseph, George, and Noelle, as well as her beloved grandson, Ian.

Throughout her life, Starr enjoyed playing computer games, researching her ancestry, and chatting with friends. Known affectionately as “Old Bat” by many of her grandchildren and loved ones, she embraced the nickname with her signature humor and charm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that friends and loved ones share a memory, photo, or prayer in her honor.

Starr will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her.
