Jack Spaulding went 4-for-4 with three runs scored for Step One Creative. J.J. Harter singled twice and drove in two runs and Danny Donahue also had two hits.
Others getting hits for Step One were Jacob Bush (2 RBIs), Spencer Stepien, M.J. Lilly and Andrew Paura (double, 3 RBIs). Neil Roman contributed an RBI and Cameron Beech scored a run.
Pitching for Step One Creative were Spaulding (10 strikeouts), Harter (3 strikeouts), Roman (1 strikeout), and Paura (1 strikeout).
After falling behind 3-1 in the first inning, Step One Creative took a 5-3 lead after 2 innings when Paura belted a bases-loaded double and then scored on a sacrifice RBI by Roman.
Step One added another run in the top of the fifth to make it 6-4.
Oswego Sub Shop battled back to score in the fifth and sixth innings to push the game into extra innings at 6-6.
Step One Creative put the game away in the seventh when Spaulding and Donahue each singled and Bush knocked them both in with a single. Bush scored on a J.J. Harter single to make it 9-6.
Tommy Back went 3-for-3 for Oswego Sub Shop, knocking in two runs. Chase Wegzyn doubled and drove in three runs. Jack Hall had the team's other hit.
Contributing with runs scored were Derek Sabatini, Preston Norfleet, Caeden Ross, and Jason Katzman. Jeff Thompson had an RBI.
