Enhance your pastry skill knowledge on July 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room of the Oswego Public Library.
During this latest “Learn To” session, participants will learn how to mix, store and hand mold Marzipan flowers. Bill Steele, retired teacher of culinary arts at SUNY Adirondack, will lead the class.
Prepared marzipan, small spatulas, confectionary sugar, glass jars and brandy snifters will be provided by the library. Participants are just required to bring one kitchen dish towel and a cutting board to the class.
To reserve a place in this “Learn To” class, sign up at the front desk in the library, or call 315-341-5867. The class size is limited to 10, so sign up as soon as possible.
The “Learn To” series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
