Tessa M. Price, 90, a resident of Murray Street, in Oswego, passed away peacefully after a long illness, Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Minetto, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Nina (Harding) Dumas.
She was a member of the Oswego Town Senior Citizens, Woman's Elks Auxilliary and the Church of the Resurrection. She served on the board of the Ladies Home. She enjoyed bowling and dancing.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Daniel) Pomeroy, of Granby and Judy (Larry) Parkhurst, of Scriba; three brothers, Fred (Emily) Dumas, Richard (Kathy) Dumas and Edward (Sandra) Dumas, all of Minetto; two sisters, Mary McCann, of Oswego, and Dawn (Sam) Hart, of Minetto; five grandchildren, Eric (Nikki) Parkhurst, Amy (Chris) Cote, Krista (Mike) Spilberg, Ryan (Abbie) Parkhurst, Kelly (Dan) Rasmussen; great-grandchildren, Amber Canbek, Madison Parkhurst, Brandon Parkhurst and Christopher Cote, Noah Spilberg, Cameron Spilberg, Price Parkhurst; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laurence Price; her siblings, Don Dumas, Lyle Dumas, Lois LaFore, Doris Godfrey, Barbara Hitchcock; and great-granddaughter, Emma Parkhurst.
Calling hours will be held 2-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, with a service to follow, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Spring burial will be in Minetto Cemetery.
