Nominate your favorite local burger joint for the 2018 Best Burger New York Contest this April!
Yelp, the farmers of New York and the New York Beef Council are sponsoring the contest held from April first until May 21. After the nomination period, judges narrow the competition down to 10 semi-finalists and public voting will determine the final four competitors. Their burgers will be judged on appearance, taste, texture and proper cooking on a 1 to 10 point scale by a panel of Yelp judges.
The winner will receive the title of “New York's Best Burger,” and a plaque to prove it. The plaque will be given at the establishment, along with a Facebook-live promotion, a statewide press release, a media conference at the restaurant, and a published article in Cattleman's Magazine.
Nominations are open until April 13 at midnight, so make sure to nominate the most deserving burger joint soon! Submit your nominations through the New York State Beef Council site at http://www.nybeef.org/, or though the facebook page found at https://www.facebook.com/NewYorkBeefCouncil/.
