Write a commentThomas Howard Stone of Oswego, passed away Saturday September 28, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse NY.
Mr. Stone was born in Oswego and was the son of the late John and Almeda (Glynn) Stone.
Tom was the husband of the late Marlene Clark Stone who died in May of 2004.
He had been employed for many years as a machine operator at the Lagoe Oswego, Corp.
Mr. Stone served in the US Navy from 1960 until 1964.
Tom was an avid Oswego Speedway fan.
He is survived by two daughters , Suzanne Barton of Windsor, VA, Cynthia Stone of Brewerton, one son John (Holli) Stone of Fulton, one sister Barbara Griswold of Auburn GA, one half brother, Scott Stone his grandchildren, Jennifer Barton, Kyle Barton, Rebbeca Stone, Megan and Jay Sargent.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by one brother David
Stone and a son-in-law Michael Sargent.
Funeral services will be 9:30AM Wednesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. .
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
