Write a commentTina DeCastro, 98, a resident of Oswego, passed away April 14, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Nellie (Tuso) Trenca. Tina worked as a seamstress at Osteds in Oswego.
Surviving is her son, Thomas DeCastro of Oswego; one granddaughter, Kathleen (Carl) Zerrahn; and two great grandchildren, Megan (Douglas) Parkhurst and Eric Zerrahn.
Besides he parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John DeCastro in 1986; her siblings, John Trenca, Joseph Trenca, Jane Angelina, Rose Reitz, and Mary Orel.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Church. Entombment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, All-Saints Mausoleum.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Monday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
