On March 11, Betty Albright donated funds needed for Victory Transformation to purchase six new beds, pillows, blankets, sheets, and bed covers for those beds.
Recently approved by the planning board and zoning board of the city of Oswego, Victory increased their capacity to be able to house eighteen men.
Betty shared that the funds donated came from the Ed Albright Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of her late husband. Eddie’s brightest moments were when he had opportunities to show an “act of kindness.” He had a written goal with ideas to help the less fortunate. "With the generous support received, we are very grateful and pleased to announce that funding was made again to Victory Transformation," said Mary Curcio, executive director of Victory Transformation.
Victory Transformation is a ministry that helps the homeless and those with critical care needs. Victory provides safe emergency housing for men, and the warming shelter for Oswego County. Their emphasis is helping to build a foundation necessary to maintain successful and empowered living.
Victory Transformation is honored and thankful to have received this very generous donation. If you would like to know more about Victory, please visit their website at victorytransformation.com.
