She was the daughter of the late Everett and Grace (Fischer) Gigon and graduated from Oswego High School.
She retired from Oswego city school district after over 30 yrs of service as a bus aide for the handicap.
She was a member of the Tops/Kops weight watchers club for many years.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with family.
Surviving are her children Robert (Gail) Dunn of Oswego ,Amy (Dennis)Perkins of Oswego and Jennifer(John)Folkenroth of Annville, Pa., six grandchildren Damien,Jessica,
Joey-Lynn,Logan,Briella and Cooper,two great grandchildren Abigail and Davey.
She was predeceased by her son David in 2014 and husband Lawrence in 2020.
Calling hours will be held at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday Aug 8,2025 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Burial services to follow at North Scriba Cemetery.
