Write a commentVirginia L. (Haines) Vazquez, 66, a resident of the Dutch Ridge Road in Scriba, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at her home.
Virginia was born in Southwest Oswego, and was a life resident of the area. She was the daughter of Myrtle (Johnson) Haines, and the late Harry Paul Haines, Sr.
She had formerly been employed as a manager at the Jackson-Hewitt Tax Preparation Co.
She is survived by two sons, J. Vazquez of Oswego, and Antonio (Jessica) Vazquez of Oswego; her mother, Myrtle Haines of Scriba; a brother, Craig Haines of Scriba; her stepdaughter, Stacy Delfinado of Fulton; three grandchildren, Maria Vazquez, Kelly Vazquez, and Gabriella Vazquez; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Joe “BJ” Haines, and Harry Paul Haines, Jr.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
