Write a commentWayne James “Jim” Stevens, 65 of Minetto passed away Monday March 4, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born in Malone and was the son of the late Wayne G. and Marilyn Bessette Stevens.
Jim was employed for many years with Niagara Mohawk and retired recently from National Grid.
Jim enjoyed volunteering as a youth hockey and baseball coach, watching sports, attending concerts and cooking for family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Raymond Stevens, his children, AJ (Katie) Stevens and Kim (Josue) Stevens both of Oswego, two brothers Mark (Mary Jo) Stevens of Warners and John (Mary) Stevens of Oswego, one sister Jacqueline (Steven) Rusho of Loveland, Colorado, five grandchildren Renee, Josie, Conor, Colton and Easton Stevens, several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at Curtis Manor, 10 Mark Fitzgibbons Dr., Oswego on April 7, from noon until 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Oswego Minor Hockey Association, PO Box 5525 Oswego, NY 13126 or Wreaths Across America
