William C. Stott, 86, a resident of Liberty Street in Oswego, passed away Monday, at the Oswego Hospital.
Mr. Stott was born in Oswego, the son of the late William and Mary (Rice) Moody. He was a life resident.
During the 1940s, he served in the US Army.
Prior to his retirement, he worked in the maintenance and cleaning department of the New York State Police Headquarters in Syracuse.
He was the husband of the late Carol (Reuter) Stott, who died in 1999.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Joyce Sweeney of Trenton, NJ; and several nieces.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions can be made to The Oswego County Humane Society, the VFW Post #5885 in Oswego, or to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements are in care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
