William F. Pluff, 82 of Oswego passed away November 30, 2025 at St. Luke Health Services.

Bill was born in Fulton and was the son of the late Francis A. and Murial A. Pluff.

Bill was for 61 years, the husband of Maureen Donovan Pluff.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Susan Eileen Pluff and his brother David Pluff.

Along with his wife Maureen, he is survived by his brother Richard Pluff of Graham, NC, his two granddaughters Katherine and Shanley Pluff of Syracuse and several cousins.

A proud graduate of Oswego Catholic High School where he participated in sports.

A lifelong employee of Nestle Corp; he retired as a Division Manager.

He was forever grateful to his father for instilling a love of nature in him. Bill loved to hunt and fish and spend time at “Deer Run” in the Adirondacks.

Bill was a member of the Lord’s Delight Covenant Community, the Oswego Elks Lodge and various golf, softball and basketball leagues. For many years he was a member of the Oswego County Board of Elections.

Calling hours will be from 2-4PM, Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at 4PM. Private entombment will be in All St. Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
