The Art Association of Oswego is holding a wreath making workshop from 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, October 23rd.
This will teach the fundamentals of wreath making while encouraging artists to execute their creative ideas. While Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holiday theme wreaths will likely dominate the workshop, participants may pursue any design they choose. The instructor, Diane Pupparo, has fifteen years of experience as a floral designer, and has conducted several successful wreath making workshops. The fee for participants will provide a wide variety of tools and materials, including glue guns, tools, wire, and a variety of wreath decoration materials sufficient to make a large variety of wreaths. In addition, there will be a number of specialty decorations available for a nominal fee, and workshop participants may also bring their own decoration items.
This workshop is open on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited, but every effort will be made to accommodate as many participants as practical. The Art Association of Oswego is located at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, across the street from Fort Ontario.
