Do you have an eye for photography? Can you find the beauty beyond 60? Then you’ll want to enter the Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) March for Meals ‘”Beyond 60” Photo Contest.

Sponsored by OCO Nutrition Services as part of the national March for Meals campaign, bringing awareness to senior hunger, the “Beyond 60 Photo Contest” is open to all community members and offers prizes of $50 for first place, $30 for second, and $20 for third. Additionally winning photos will be posted on the OCO Nutrition website, www.oco.org/nutrition. Honorable Mention photos will be displayed on the OCO Nutrition Services Facebook page at OCO Senior Centers.

“We are looking for photographers to show how wonderful people and things can be over age of 60. Photos will be judged on how well they depict someone or something age 60 or beyond,” explained OCO Nutrition Services Coordinator Bridget Dolbear.

Entries will be accepted through March 31 and may be submitted via e-mail to bdolbear@oco.org or mailed to Oswego County Opportunities, Attn. Bridget Dolbear, 239 Oneida Street, Fulton NY 13069

All eligible entries will be posted for viewing on the OCO Nutrition Services Facebook page at OCO Senior Centers. Staff of OCO Nutrition Services staff will choose the winners on April 1.

Entry forms can be found on the OCO website, www.oco.org. There is a $5.00 entry fee per photo. All proceeds will benefit OCO’s Home Delivered Meals program and its Dining and Activity Centers. For more information contact Bridget Dolbear at 315-598-4712, ext. 1813 or via e-mail at bdolbear@oco.org.
