The Art Association of Oswego (AAO) is proud to announce the opening of its 30th Annual Members’ Exhibition.
We’ve chosen to hold this long-standing annual exhibition in an online-only format this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The artwork can be viewed on our website at undefined
This exhibition was juried and prizes awarded by Bill DeMott. Bill is a long-time AAO member and exhibition coordinator. He also teaches art classes at several colleges in the Central New York area.
Our prize winners are:
- First place: “Mother Earth” – enamel on canvas by Tyrone Johnson-Neuland
- Second place: “2020” – acrylic on canvas by Maggie Henry
- Third place: “Snaking Lines” – digital photograph by Charlotte Arcadi
- Earth theme award: “Opal Pool” – color-enhanced photograph by Edward Elsner
We also have 4 honorable mention awards:
- “Here for the Rally” – photograph by Peter Mahan
- “Waterfall” – watercolor on paper by Sewall Oertling
- “Erosion: A Menace” digital photograph by Bob Kester
- “Spirit Bear” – digital painting by Melisa Martin
The AAO Exhibition Committee has chosen Joanne Henry and Otto Mellucci to receive solo show opportunities for 2021.
