St. Luke-Boyce Memorial Tournament Features a $20K Hole-In-One

Golfers in the 18th Annual St. Luke-Francis Boyce Memorial Charity Tournament will take aim at a $20,000 hole-in-one contest thanks to The House Works in Fulton.

The event tees off with an 8:00am “shot gun” start on Saturday, August 8th at Battle Island State Park in Fulton. The four-person “Captain & Crew” tournament attracts both serious and novice golf teams alike – with prizes awarded in both categories.

The Boyce Memorial Charity Golf Tournament benefits the “Don’t Stop Wishing” program, an organization-wide initiative at affiliates St. Luke Health Services, Bishop’s Commons, Michaud Residential Health Services and St. Francis Commons. The program helps enhance the quality of life enjoyed by residents and helps maintain connections with their community by funding trips, activities and events throughout the year.

Cost for the tournament is $80.00 per person ($320 for a four person team). The field is limited to the first twenty-five teams that register. The entry fee includes greens fees, cart; lunch, awards & prizes immediately following at Kristen’s at Battle Island.

In addition to the hole-in-one contest sponsored by The House Works, a longest drive and closest to the pin for both men and women and “chipping” contest will all be a part of the fun.

Corporate support for the 18th Annual Francis Boyce Memorial Charity Golf Tournament comes from The Bonadio Group; Environmental Services Specialist Corp; Fulton Savings Bank; Harbor Pharmacy; The Hayner-Hoyt Corporation; IV4, Inc.; Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece P.C; Rehab Resources; Sodexo; and Usherwood Office Technology. Cart sponsor is McKesson.

For more information, or to register to golf please contact St. Luke Health Services at 342-3166, or visit their website page at www.stlukehs.com, look under the “Giving” tab.
