Write a commentUpon an internal review of the 2025 City of Oswego budget, it was discovered that an appropriation in the 2025 Sewer Enterprise Budget was not included in the total.
Mayor Robert Corradino has called a Special Meeting of the Common Council to amend the budget to reflect the total accurately. This meeting will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 5:30pm at City Hall.
It is important to note that the funds are in the budget, that the amendment will not impact that adopted 2025 operating budget for the City of Oswego, real property taxes will not be impacted, and it will not affect the tax rate paid by the taxpayers. This amendment solely ensures that’s the funds are reflected appropriately in the total of the fund balance.
