Brookfield Renewable U.S. will be joining city and county officials to announce their support for public safety initiatives that utilize emerging drone technology.

This financial support will aid law enforcement's capacity to monitor the City’s riverside while also helping emergency services increase capability for lifesaving assistance on the river.

During an emergency, a drone can carry and drop a flotation vest to a person in the water to assist first responders. The presentation will feature a demonstration of the drone’s waterfront capabilities.

  • Date/Time: Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00PM
  • Location: Veterans Memorial Park (Water St, Oswego, NY)
  • Guests: Mayor Billy Barlow, Police Chief Phil Cady, Deputy Chief Damian Waters, Sergeant Josh LaRue, County Emergency Management John McGraw, County Tourism Dave Turner.
