Pit Stop Convenience Store employees from North Victory recently volunteered their time in the Catholic Charities of Oswego County Food Pantry.
The employees delivered a donation of six pallets, or an estimated 7,000 lbs., of food from their store. This donation and help in the pantry provided much relief and will sustain the pantry until their next shipment of food, said Helen Hoefer, program director of Community Services.
Catholic Charities was founded in 1930 and has expanded its agency with many programs and services that have touched thousands of children, families and individuals throughout Oswego County. Generous gifts and donations to Catholic Charities have supported more than 160,000 children, women and men in need.
