In honor of Women in Trades Month, the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation proudly celebrates and recognizes the vital contributions of women who are paving the way for future generations in fields traditionally dominated by men.
These trailblazers are shattering stereotypes in areas such as construction, electrical work, carpentry, welding and more. This month, we are proud to amplify their voices, share their stories and honor their hard work, resilience, and innovation.
CiTi BOCES is committed to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment that supports the professional development of women in the trades, through a combination of specialized CTE (Career and Technical Education) programs, the Women in Trades Club and mentorship opportunities.
"The goal is to empower and promote young women as they hone their skills and ensure they are set up for success to reach their career goals as female professionals in the trades," said CiTi Work-based Learning Coach Karen Rodriquez
