The Oswego State men's and women's cross country teams have announced their 2018 schedule. Oswego will compete on seven dates in the fall, including its annual home invitational.
On the first day of September, the Lakers will open the year at the Pre-SUNYAC Preview, beginning at 11 a.m. at SUNY Fredonia. The following Saturday, Oswego will welcome several schools to campus for the Oswego State Invitational. At 11 a.m., the men's Don Masterson 6K will begin, followed by the Pat Peterson Women's 4K at 12.
Next will be a trip down Route 104 to visit the University of Rochester. The Yellowjacket Invite is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start on Sept. 15.
After a weekend of rest, the squads will head back southwest to SUNY Geneseo and the Mike Woods Invitational for an 11 a.m. race on Sept. 29.
The Lakers will then have another weekend off before heading to the Inter-Regional Border Battle – hosted by Rowan University. It will be the final tune-up before the postseason portion of the slate, begging at 11 a.m. on Oct. 13.
Oswego then takes part in the SUNYAC Championships, hosted by Fredonia on Oct. 27. Qualified runners will then await Nov. 10 for the NCAA Atlantic Regionals, hosted by Rowan. National qualifiers will then have the opportunity to visit Oshkosh, Wisc. for the NCAA Division III Championships on Nov. 17.
