Oswego State's Titanic named SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week

     Oswego State men's ice hockey player David Titanic (Markham, Ontario) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27, 2013.      The junior forward notched a pair of pivotal goals for Oswego State in its wins over Brockport and No. 15 Geneseo. On Friday, Titanic got the Lakers on the board with 33 seconds left in a first period that saw the Golden Eagles out-shoot Oswego State, 12-7. In Saturday's 4-3 thriller, Titanic scored the game-winning goal with 4:44 remaining in regulation. It was his sixth goal of the season for the Lakers, who moved back into first place in the SUNYAC standings with the victories.
     Oswego State (17-3-0, 10-1-0 SUNYAC) hosts Morrisville and SUNYAC Goalie of the Week Christopher Azzano at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 1, in its only game of the weekend.
