The Oswego State women's tennis beat Wells College in straight-sets 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. Six Lakers partook in the competition, each recording a win at singles and teaming up to take all three doubles matches.
Alli Ullrich, Madeline Klatt, Giovanna Saulle and Lorrayne Broach dominated their opponents in straight-sets. Ullrich battled at second singles, Klatt took the third position, Saulle captured fourth singles and Broach rounded out the victories in the sixth slot. Jill Travis downed her counterpart 6-2, 6-4 in the number-one position whileAlesha Pilon sailed to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at fifth singles.
On the doubles side, Travis and Ullrich cruised past their Express competition 8-0 in the top spot. Klatt and Saulle won second doubles 8-3 and the tandem of Pilon and Broach wrapped up the third position 8-1.
Oswego will now take nearly a week off before returning to the courts at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday when it travels to Oneonta to face the Red Dragons.
