For Fathers, there’s a Traditional Clambake on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th from Noon to 4:00 p.m. It’s “all-you-can-eat” and may be the best deal for honoring Dad in the region with New England Clam Chowder, Steamed Little Neck Clams, Peel & Eat shrimp, Barbecued Chicken & Pulled Pork, Smoked Prime Beef Brisket, Roasted Potatoes, Sweet Corn, Cole Slaw, Tossed Salad, Mac & Cheese, Seasonal Veggies and Desserts.
Ticket Prices are $45 for adults, $20 for kids 16 and under, and children under 5 are free. It’s from Noon to 4 on Father’s Day, June 16th.
Then, Summer has come to Fair Haven! The chance to celebrate the longest day with Colloca Estate Winery’s Summer Solstice Wine Pairing Dinner on Thursday, June 20th at 6:00 p.m.
The seven-course dinner starts off with passed hors d’oeuvres and is paired with the Lake Effect Vineyard’s® just for fun specialty, “Mindy’s Giggle Juice”. Then it moves on to an Ahi Tuna Tartare followed by Lobster Risotto and a Prime Beef Carpaccio. A palate cleanser comes next: House Made Apple Sorbet as a preparation for the Duo of Beef Tournedo & Rack of Lamb. Dessert winds up the evening with (what else in June?) Strawberry Shortcake with local NYS Strawberries! It’s all paired with 7 of the winery’s most outstanding Colloca and Lake Effect Vineyard® wines. And, winery Founder Chris Colloca will be on hand to speak about each wine and entertain diners with stories of wine and family.
