Dark Hollow Trio is a musical group based in Syracuse, New York, known primarily for performing acoustic music and Grateful Dead covers. The trio is a smaller offshoot of the larger Dark Hollow band, a popular regional Grateful Dead tribute act.
The trio consists of long-time collaborators from the Central New York music scene:
- Mike O'Hara: Acoustic guitar and lead vocals.
- Mike Vincitore: Lead guitar and vocals.
- Mark Nanni: Keyboards, accordion, and vocals.
Musical Style
The group's repertoire centers on Americana, bluegrass, and acoustic rock, with a heavy emphasis on the music of the Grateful Dead. They often perform stripped-down, acoustic versions of Dead classics like the song "Dark Hollow," which was originally written by Bill Browning and popularized in the jam band community.
Live Painter:
Jason Clifford Vincent
Jason is a Syracuse-based live painter who has been creating art his entire life, bringing high-energy, interactive visual experiences into concert and event spaces. Known for working under black light with UV-reactive paint and body art, Jason transforms shows into immersive, glowing environments where the art evolves in real time—often turning the space into an unexpected paint party.
For Jason, the most meaningful work isn't just what's finished—it's the joy, confidence, and connection sparked through making art together.
