Write a commentErin’s Angels of CNY will host its annual Friendsgiving fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Home Team Pub, 7990 Oswego Road.
The event will feature an auction, raffles, vendors and community fellowship to support programs that fight childhood hunger in Oswego County. Josh Amidon, award-winning social media personality and former owner of Gino’s Steak and Onion, will serve as host.
Home Team Pub has generously committed to donating 10% of all sales during the Friendsgiving event to benefit Erin’s Angels of CNY, further amplifying the impact of every meal and moment shared. There is no entry fee and tickets are not required.
Burdick BMW is the presenting sponsor of this year’s event. Kelly Burdick, representing Burdick BMW, added: “We’re honored to support Erin’s Angels and their mission. No child should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from.”
According to Feeding America, 20.3% of children in Oswego County, nearly 5,000 kids — struggle with hunger. Proceeds from the event will benefit Erin’s Angels’ Weekend Meals Program, which discreetly provides meals to food-insecure students in the Phoenix Central School District when school meals are not available.
