Lakeside Artisans, at 191 W. First St., in Oswego, will host a Featured Artists' Reception from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, March 16, as part of its second anniversary celebration.
The Lakeside Artisans' Featured Artist for the month of March is Kathy Fenlon, known for her unique bags made with unusual combinations of patterned and solid fabrics.
During the reception, Fenlon will be demonstrating how she creates her designs and providing customers with the samples to choose their fabrics and bag designs for individual orders.
Fenlon has been creating her colorful designs for several years, selling locally by word of mouth and at some local festivals and seasonal gatherings. She became a member of Lakeside Artisans in October of 2012.
Fenlon has donated one of her bags, with matching purse, as a door prize for the event.
Tickets are available at Lakeside Artisans all this week, with the drawing to take place Saturday, March 16.
