Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Executive Director Diane Cooper-Currier has announced that G & C Foods is once again a Gold Level sponsor of OCO’s annual Bowl-A-Fun.
With the theme “Hooray for Hollywood! – Bowl A Strike Against Homelessness.” OCO’s Bowl-A-Fun serves as a fundraiser in support of OCO’s efforts to help the homeless in Oswego County, the event will be held April 14 at Lakeview Lanes, 723 West Broadway in Fulton.
“We are proud to count such a caring and community-minded company as G & C Foods among our supporters,” said Cooper-Currier. “As an anti-poverty agency OCO’s mission is to fight poverty in many forms. The programs and services we offer at OCO provide our clients a hand up. We teach them the importance of making good decisions and empower them to reach goals that will better their condition and elevate their self-esteem. We are appreciative of the fact that not only does G & C Foods help sponsor our Bowl-A-Fun; they send several teams of employees to participate and join in on the fun. G & C Foods’ commitment to our community and its support of our programs is inspiring.”
G & C Foods joins Gold Level Sponsor National Grid and Silver Level Sponsors Key Bank and the Shineman Foundation in supporting OCO’s Bowl-A-Fun.
“G&C Foods is always excited to partner with OCO,” said G & C Foods Director of Organizational Development Sara Johnson. “The programs that they provide are invaluable to Oswego County. We support their mission and dedication and love to see the impact from their efforts.”
