No one will be sitting down as the festival will open with a family party atmosphere with entertaining and dance music. We are glad to have them aboard for this year's festival as not only do they have their own following, but are always creating new fans with their crowd-pleasing show."
Following the Nice Guys will be official opening ceremonies and then Felix Cavaliere's Rascals to cap off a spectacular first night.
Nik and the Nice Guys was formed by a group of hockey players at St. Lawrence University that including National Hockey League coach Mike Keenan and present day Nik Manager Gary Webb. Originally, the recreated band was a means for day-time business professional to become night-time party animals raising funds for charity. However, the continued success of the bad has led to a full-time musical commitment.
Oswego Harborfest Executive Director Doug Buske reminded," We are certainly known for the reputation as one of the few admission free music festivals in the nation. It would not be possible to continue this event without the massive support we receive from the City of Oswego, governmental entities, businesses, organizations and individual and family members.
