The Honky Tonk Man Shake Rattle and Roll Comedy Tour made its way through New York and the WWE Legend The Honky Tonk Man did not disappoint.

For those unfamiliar with The Honky Tonk Man, he is a professional wrestling legend notorious for performing in World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment. He had many great feuds with legends such as Macho Man Randy Savage, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (who Honky Tonk Man took the Intercontinental Title from), Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and even The Ultimate Warrior. The Honky Tonk Man's biggest claim to fame is being the longest WWE's reigning Intercontinental Champion. The Honky Tonk Man held the Intercontinental Title for one year two months and twenty-seven days making it the longest in WWF/WWE history.

The New York portion of the tour kicked off in Endwell, January, 19th, and also visited: Lathem, Yorkville, Watertown and did a signing at The Larger Than Life Toys & Comics at the Destiny Mall in Syracuse.

The stand-up comedy shows include The Honky Tonk Man's stand up in which he tells funny stories while on the road wrestling while in the WWF/E from ribbing and pranking other professional wrestlers, to having a Q & A session with those in attendance and did autograph signings too. If you're lucky, you may even get The Honky Tonk Man to sing his popular WWF/E theme song!

The Honky Tonk Man commented on his tour saying "The tour has been good. It's been better than I expected." The Honky Tonk Man also stated, "The signings that we've had that we've thrown together to fill in some dates have done pretty good for us." Since the tour in New York had done better than The Honky Tonk Man had expected, he said: "We're hoping to try and put together The Rhythm 'n Blues Reunion Show with Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and come up sometime in September or October!"

The tour finished in New York finished in Syracuse at Destiny Mall on the 24th of January. The 25th is The Honky Tonk Man's 65th birthday! Upon going to the signing myself with Bill Jones brought The Honky Tonk Man a cake with candles to help celebrate his birthday!

We here at iheartoswego.com would like to wish The Honky Tonk Man the best of luck on his tour and also wish him a happy birthday!
