Write a commentThe "PathFinder Bank Volunteer Program" is in full swing for Harborfest 2013. The annual summertime event plays host to hundreds of volunteers that will be wearing brightly colored volunteer T-shirts almost everywhere you look during the four days of the festival.
Volunteer training dates are coming up at the McCrobie Building at 41 Lake St. in Oswego. The first training date is 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, and the second one is 7 p.m., Thursday, July 18.
Garofolo's will again be catering the Volunteer Picnic, which will be held at Breitbeck Park and is slated for 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 21.
The volunteers are clearly the backbone of the festival with many having stepped up to help for over two decades. Applications to volunteer for the 2013 Harborfest may be down loaded from the Volunteer Tab on the Harborfest website or they may be picked up in person at the west end of the McCrobie Building on Lake Street.
