Write a commentJohn E. Ellis, 73, a resident of Oswego, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at St. Luke Health Services.
John was born in Fulton, NY, the son of the late John D. and Gertrude E. (Brown) Ellis.
Prior to retiring, he was a self-employed painter.
He was the husband of the late Paula (Pryor) Ellis, who died in 2009.
He is survived by two daughters, Dacey Hoey, of St. Augustine, Florida, and Shannon (Paul) Brightenfield of Ontario, NY; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several siblings.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery.
