Attendees to the Child Advocacy Center`s Inaugural Fiesta Masquerade will have a chance to win a beautiful diamond pendant necklace courtesy of JP Jewelers in Oswego. Valued at $150, the diamond pendant necklace is one of the grand prizes in CAC's Piñata Contest.

In keeping with the event's Mexican theme, the CAC Fiesta Masquerade will feature a Piñata contest that offers the opportunity to win number of prizes including a golf package, Mackenzie-Childs inspired fall topiary, and the diamond pendant necklace.

"We appreciate JP Jewelers' support of our Fiesta Masquerade with this very generous donation," said CAC Director Karrie Damm. "It's wonderful to see small businesses come forward and show their concern for the children of our community. The support that we receive from caring businesses such as JP Jewelers plays an important part in allowing us to continue our mission of raising awareness of, and helping to end, child abuse in Oswego County."

To be held October 10 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., the CAC Fiesta Masquerade promises to be the event of the fall season. The semi-formal masquerade serves as a major fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center. Guests will enjoy a variety of Mexican themed foods, margaritas, and the sounds of Central New York's premier dance band, The Billionaires.

In addition to the Piñata Contest there will also be a contest for best for fiesta mask, raffles and 50/50 drawing.

A non-profit agency, the CAC provided advocacy and mental health services to 475 children and their families that are victims of child abuse in 2013 and are seeing an increase of cases this year. All proceeds from the CAC Fiesta Masquerade will benefit the CAC and its efforts to unmask child abuse in Oswego County.
Tickets for the CAC Fiesta Masquerade are currently available at a cost of $100 per individual / $150 per couple. For those who choose, transportation to and from the event will be available courtesy of Great Lakes Trolley. Trolleys will depart from Oswego Speedway, 300 East Albany St. in Oswego, beginning 5:30 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets contact the Child Advocacy Center at 315-592-4453, visit www.cacevents.org, or visit the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County page on Facebook.
