The Oswego County Legislature proclaimed July 26 as Americans with Disabilities Awareness Day in celebration of the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The Legislature’s Health Committee presented the certificate to members of Oswego ARISE. The group works to promote education about advocacy, resources and services available to county residents while ensuring that the rights of individuals with disabilities are acknowledged and protected.
