     A pair of Oswego High School athletes had a very notable week.

     In one of the most successful nights of the winter sports season, every varsity team in action picked up victories on Tuesday as basketball, swimming, bowling and hockey all walked off with victories.

     In preparation for fall 2013, Head Start Pre-K (pre-kindergarten) will be holding Community Awareness and Application Days in March.

     The Oswego High swimmers finished their home season with a big win while a trio of wrestlers finished second in the Class A Tournament. Meanwhile, the boys' varsity basketball team lost a heartbreaker and the hockey team is looking for a possible second place finish as the regular season winds down.

     With the January regents now over, Williams Way encourages students and parents to consider getting ready for the upcoming June regents.

     The Oswego High School (OHS) will be hosting a hands-on workshop Wednesday, Feb. 6, to provide high school seniors planning to attend college, and their parents the opportunity to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on-line.
     Kathy Flaherty and colleagues with many years of experience working in financial aid at community colleges as well as state and private four-year colleges will be available for assistance in the OHS Library anytime that evening from 5-6:30 p.m.

As part of its March For Meals Campaign Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Nutrition Services has partnered with Canale's Restaurant in Oswego to host a Dine and Donate fundraiser.

The Oswego City School District is conducting a Family Engagement Survey in order to assess the current functioning of the district, from the perspective of families who have children in the the schools.

The Oswego City School District Home & School Associations and Oswego Classroom Teachers' Association (OCTA) will host "Meet the Candidate Night" on Tuesday, May 5th at the Oswego High School Cafeteria.
