FitzGibbons Insurance owner, John FitzGibbons, sponsors the "FitzGibbons Insurance Athletes of the Month," in cooperation with the Oswego Buccaneer Booster Club. The January Oswego High School "Athletes of the Month" were hockey goalie Madisyn Whalen and bowler Matt Clemons. Each received a $25 gift certificate for the Oswego Tea Company, in Oswego. Buccaneer Booster President Judy Queale-Dunsmoor presented the certificates along FitzGibbons.

     It was "Think Pink Day" at Fitzhugh Park Elementary School (FPS) on Valentine's Day. The FPS Student Council asked all students were asked to wear red or pink to celebrate the day. Students from every grade level gathered together to proudly display their support of the day.      Sue Bertsch, a Constellation Community Council member, presents $2,000 to Oswego High School technology teacher Matthew Bock. The money will be used to purchase parts and tools for the completion of an all-electric vehicle that the students hope to be able to enter in competition. The funds will also assist to cover travel expenses and entry fees.
