Just one more regular season show remains before the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers compete in the season finale at the Syracuse University Carrier Dome.
The Central Square Red Hawks will host the New York State Field Band Conference competition this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at their stadium behind the high school.
Bands from throughout Central New York will be competing with Auburn commencing the show at 6:30 p.m. and the Maroons will be followed by Jordan-Elbridge, Phoenix, Central Sqquare, Oswego, East Syracuse-Minoa, West Genesee and Liverpool.
This will be the final program before the state championship event Sunday, Oct. 27.
Oswego, coming off an award winning performance last weekend, will be competing in the Small School 1 Division which will begin at 6 p.m.
Oswego will be the fifth band in the class to compete and is expected to take the field for competition at 6:52 p.m.
Other bands competing in SS1 include Mohonasen, East Syracuse-Minoa, New Hartford, East Irondequoit, Medina and Leroy.
