On Saturday, June 24th, National Recording Artist country singer Courtney Dickinson took Oswego by storm when she performed at The Sting. Courtney Dickinson was brought in by a new company Lake Effect Promotions by Michael Sorendo.
Dickenson admitted that she was "Super excited" to perform in Oswego. Dickinson is originally from Northern Georgia and that while she has been to New York before for vacation, this was her first time coming to New York to perform. Dickinson stated that "Everyone has been amazing in New York, I've had my best luck so far here and have had the most spins in New York." Courtney was very excited to perform in Oswego stating that "Oswego is a very lovely place. Upstate New York has been very positive and I look forward to coming back," stated Dickinson
Her single "So Over The Rainbow" debuted at National Radio in January 2017. Her single made it in the Top 40 on The Music Row Breakout Chart. Dickinson credited her parents her getting into music. "I have been performing since I was 12 and started pursuing a music career since 15 going from town to town," said Dickinson. When younger, Dickinson competed in a local competition in which she was able to sing a duet with Billy Ray Cyrus at Kick 101.5 Atlanta. "I was also inspired by Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, and Reba," said Dickinson.
"Anyone can connect with me through my website http://www.courtneydickenson.com/. It has all my social media on there, updates, store," Dickinson said. We here at iheartoswego would like to wish her all the best in furthering her career and hope she will come back to visit.
