The Arc of Oswego County is pleased to announce a generous $5,000 donation from Odd Fellow & Rebekah Benefit Fund, Inc. to strengthen the agency's person‑centered efforts that build skills, foster independence, and connect individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to community life.

This support will help fund recreational programming offered to individuals enrolled in Arc of Oswego County Respite and Senior Day Services—including activities that promote wellness, social connection, and confidence through arts, fitness, local outings, and volunteer opportunities. These experiences create welcoming pathways for participants to engage with neighbors, civic groups, and local organizations.

Community participation is at the heart of The Arc's mission. Through regular involvement in events and resource fairs, individuals and families raise awareness and acceptance of disabilities while building relationships that enrich the broader community. The donation also bolsters a culture of service and contribution, encouraging participants to take active roles that make Oswego County an even better place to live and work.
