The July 17 application deadline for Oswego Youth Court is fast-approaching. Training will be held July 27 to 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oswego City Hall. The program is open to all Oswego County students who are in grades 7 through 12.
National Grid has announced that they will be starting a utility pole replacement project in the City of Oswego. The project will consist of removing and replacing certain utility poles on NYS Route 104 from Duer Street to West Fifth Street. The project is not expected to effect electric service. Temporary parking restrictions will be posted to accommodate the project. The project is scheduled to begin Monday, October 5, 2015 and will be completed by Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
Local independent wrestling promotion Squared Circle Wrestling, famously known to fans as 2CW recently held their final show in December. However, they recently wrote on their page they would hold reunion shows pending how far the Syracuse Orangemen’s basketball team gets through the NCAA Tournament.
Squared Circle Wrestling owner and colleagues thought they were going to pull a fast one on fans by posting on Facebook that if the Syracuse Orangemen made the Sweet 16 they would hold a reunion show.
